What It Does
The plastic crusher is the front-end size-reduction machine in recycling. It cuts bulky plastic waste — bottles, film, pipes and runners — into small, uniform flakes ready for washing or re-pelletizing.
How It Works
Plastic is fed through the hopper into the cutting chamber; rotating blades on the rotor shear against fixed blades; the material is repeatedly cut until it passes through the screen holes, then discharged by gravity or a conveyor.
